It’s all about security of the network You are actually delegating your EGLD to a Validator who runs a node on Elrond Network Your rewards are coming from that node, your EGLD doesn’t just sits in the wallet It’s actually supporting the network

As per the protocol. The 10 day unbonding period for active delegation is clearly defined before people enter it. Here is a quick explanation. After the unStake function is called, funds might still be locked for delegation for several epochs, depending on system load ratio. For this reason, funds will remain locked in the ASC for 10 epochs. So it's to ensure the smooth running of the blockchain. It could be changed via governance in the future, but let's see. Simply put it is for the security of the network. If people were chopping and changing all the time that could make the network unstable and possibly nodes not having enough stake on them during epoch change and they would therefore no longer be validators.

Alright thank you ;) just to bad then that there isnt a restake option ;) just to switch provider then it still supports the network :)

👍

Other places unbounding is 30 days 😅

Hehe yes and some stakes takes less than minutes ;) but I guess its the technical part of it :) which normal lovers of eGLD like me dont get "why it just cant switch fast 🙃"
