There is nothing stopping you buying after listing when things have settled down

IDOs have never claimed to be decentralised, hense the need for a KYC, no one is forcing it upon you, you have many other community projects that you can invest in without any details taken, these are large companies that have to deal with regulations

There are many community IDOs you can invest in, join @Elrondesdt to learn about them, launchpads have legal and regulatory requirements from the company themselves, you are free to buy after listing
