What is expected on staking phase 4 and DeFi 2.0

Is something structurally lacking in the network to allow the development of DApps and that will still be implemented in what they call DeFi 2.0 Module or is this module more like a plan of adoption?

I found Elrond's structure very interesting and promising, with all this focus on simplicity, efficiency, scalability, security and unique features. Pretty strong community, lots of great partnerships, very good development activity according to SanBase (top10-15) and even so, there are no DApps and I can't understand why, even if they weren't going to be adopted. This makes me think that the team is holding back other projects because they want to launch Maiar DEX first. But that's just my guess and I can be wrong, I don't want to create any polemics. This is the only fact (no DApps) that makes me intrigued, because it's been possible to build them for more than a year since the launch of Mainnet (am I right?) and even so there isn't any (only the Maiar wallet). I don't want to cause any trouble, it's just a vision of some outsider who has been deeply studying the project for 3 days.

It hasn't been possible that long, only since smart contracts, but complex, now anyone with a little knowledge can, check out some community projects such as @AerovekAviation see what they are making
