it's so easy to put the fault on a name. how about the other 2 strong bots?
how about the bot that even dumped and no one know who's belonging to?

so many hypocrites blaming a smart dude for using his bot, when anyone would have participated to a bot action if they would have had that chance.

Because they don't have all the facts straight. They just read something, in different groups, conflicting information. The bot that won yielded someone ~110k eGLD, this is the one that caused the price hike and everything just snowballed from there. We don't know who this bot belongs to.

Also a conflict of interest him being an Elrond Validator and bragging he got his friends tokens too. A slap in the face for community members.

bot prevention is standard for any IDOs, this is jothing new. Lessons should have been learnt by looking at other thousands IDOs before. You can find them in github easily. At price of 4 usd the market cap using total supply was 5 bln usd and one of the biggest IDOs in history... This is not an ido of 100k...

Yes, but the issue is the average investor doesn’t have 10k egld in their wallet and programming knowledge to come up with their own trading bot, so the playing field was not fair - how can the average person trust the DEX now, knowing that they are up against damn bots with thousands of egld at their disposal for trading??

That is the state of all trading everywhere. Those conditions are not elrond specific in the least.

And I’m sure the team will hav a resolution to the problem. This happens, so many icos have had this same problem. It is to be expected in to decentralised environments.

Mate, they proved that maiar dex can be manipulated from inside, from their validators, from their core and my trust in dex is gone. I've invested more that 50k USD and I will take everything out and I will. Move with my investment from here. I will keep the ride and sell all. EGLD on binance once I will get a decent price. For me maiar dex and elrond will be history. I didn't lost any money in the process but if their validators owning 10.000 EGLD or 25.000 EGLD are doing this to the community, I'm out of it. System is damaged and this will last for a while...

Ok and? Elrond team members or close to the team won't do the bot job no more, most probably. But do you have any idea how impossible is to block ALL the bots without guess-banning legit buyers? Many here have almost 0 technical knowledge, but lvl 9000 on non-constructive criticism. Things will get better and better, but that's because the team really cares about the community. Agree with it? Nahhh. Surprised? Not in the least. Greed does what it does. Again there are other systems that have staking providers and validators, those people doing that are also allowed to trade as well, using bots is not illegal. Liking it or not, is not the point. It just is the way things are, I accept that. And up for any ideas to make things even more fair of course. But all of these factors are common, and they are why if you do not know what you are doing and don't have experience with new token launches, do not participate right away. You should never buy when a new token immediately launches. People were warned time and again. Because these factors exist in every ecosystem. Its always best to wait and let the overall market ease into a price.

The "validator" bot still has the RIDE in the wallet. It's about a totally different bot which also dumped last night. Nobody knows who's bot is that, but people are spitting on the bot that came to the surface, by the owner making things transparent. And i'm done here with explaining, cause people will believe what they WANT to believe, not the facts. And the miss-information level right now is sky-rocketing.

Validators with huge amounts of EGLD using bots, elrond team using bots, normal users losing money big time. This was a fiasco and I understand some lads frustration when you lose 20k 50k etc. Staking agency was one of the validators who masacrated the transactions

No one said get out. We said take your time, learn, be prudent. And make wise decisions. And dont buy as soon as a new token launches. The team literally said that. Because why? Its extremely risky, and it always will be.

Not true, Staking Agency didn’t do nothing. @DrDelphi did use the bot to buy RIDE but he DID NOT dumped on the community. Also, we should look to work with him in making the DEX much better. Banning/ Censorship does not stand for the Blockchain idea.

Elrond explained what and who happened and how they plan to improve moving forward! SO STOP WITH THE THREATS and let time play out as Elrond keep improving or bounce and get RUG PULLED by some OTHER platform/ project, etc.
