if protocol gets hacked, will we lose our full balance? Or Anchor will give money back to us in that case?

2. How Anchor is providing 20% APY? How are they making profit from it?

3. Is it halal to use Anchor from Islamic religious view?

One other pt on this and why ANC is likely to survive bumps is the borrowing mechanism is very attractive. So ya, you’ll get idiots over leveraging but for disciplined investors it’s a solid risk calc which keeps that borrowing mechanism churning. Sure, I could see a bear market where they have to drop APY temp but people aren’t going to all rush to exit a f’n stablecoin. APY would quickly recover as people like me would want to borrow at bottom and buy up cheap crypto.

1. No... you take that risk everywhere in the blockchain world. There is no such a thing as 100% safe. 2. The 20% apy has two components : Fees paid by the borrowers (that borrows the ust you deposit) + (a propotion of the) staking rewards of the collateral provided by the borrowers. 3. I think you should ask an imam (or whatever) for that.(If you have a problem with interests on borrowing .. then .. you have the answer you're looking for )
