How do we know that the part of the teams

that are part of the foundation don't just blindly distribute founds to themselves? After all they all seem connected and it would be easy to just say "If you give green light for my request I will do the same for yours"

I think that is why a community driven approach where devs have to present themselves and their projects to the community and ask/convince them for a share of founds would be more decentralized
