The Holo team had an ICO already back in ‘18. HOT (erc-20) was distributed from that. Swap should be starting sometime this year, after beta starts.

Holochain is the technology. It’s a framework for building distributed peer to peer apps. Holo will be the cloud hosting marketplace. A bridge for users to use Holo similar to regular internet. Jon mentioned Holofuel.

Not exactly, developers will be able to build applications that can be hosted by holohosts. Developers would need to pay with holofuel in one way or another. Hosters get paid in holofuel. So a user of the application that the developer built won't need to pay for anything. It would work as a normal web application.
