Hi all. I have staked a few eglds on Maiar

app and have not yet received any rewards from the validator. After how long do you receive the first rewards ?

When you first stake you're eligible for rewards right away, so it can happen when the end of epoch happens. Epochs are 1 day long. The hitch is that your particular staking provider might not have had any producing nodes during the last epoch. At any given time, half the nodes are in a waiting state, producing no rewards during the epoch. Nodes get chosen randomly to be put into a waiting state, and each waiting node spends 5 days in that state. If your staking provider has fewer nodes, then days producing substantially less than it's expected APR are more common, but days producing substantially above the expected APR are also more common.
