the differences between the Trade of Data Packs and the Trade of Data NFTs ?
Thanks for this question. Data Packs: This is a simple "upload and trade" tool that is fully peer-to-peer. You use this if you want to sell multiple (potentially unlimited) copies of their data to buyers (Data Consumers) around the world Data NFTs: This is a more "controlled method for trading data" - If you want to limit the "distribution" of your trade, you can choose to mint it into a Data NFT. This allows for attributes like "limited edition datasets" and "royalties on re-trade". NFMe ID Avatars also hold access to "Data NFTs" and enforce more limited availability for data being shared.
Great question: We have a feature called “regional decentralized hubs” that abstracts the storage mechanism to provide privacy-preserving compute and regulation-friendly storage. Depending on the type of data being uploaded for trade, the user will be able to choose between more centralized and regulation friendly “localized encrypted storage” or for more decentralized options based on IPFS + FileCoin. Our fully decentralzied IPFS + FileCoin solution is the most robust to ensure it "cannot be destroyed or censored" -- but it's not suitable for sensitive data.
Thanks Mark. I really look forward to replace those 2.
