💫 Velas Delegate Staking and Masternode • How do I delegate VLX? Staking in Velas is in fact delegated staking, meaning that users delegate their tokens to the node on their choice. However, users can choose the node only in case is staking takes place on Velas Wallet, in the case of Exchange, users do not have an opportunity to choose the node. To earn passive rewards from Delegation, the minimum amount to stake is 1 VLX. 👉 For Tutorial, Click Here. • How much VLX do you need to run a master node? At the start, you can run a validator with any amount of VLX, when there will be more than 19 validators with a stake weight of 1M, the validators with a lower stake weight will not get a reward anymore. 👉 Read More about Running a Validator Node. Staking is also available on the exchanges (Probit and BW) for any amount of VLX which is easy and accessible: stake as little as 1 VLX. Thanks. I have two questions: 1. What is the % return for staking through Velas wallet? 2. Is there a lock up period? If so how long and can you break it early?
Return is 10-12% APY There are no lock up period when staking, you can unstake anytime ,there is only a cool down period of 2-3days
Can you please advise me whether there is record keeping through the Velas Wallet of the staking? Eg is there an excel file you can export which will show your staking rewards for tax purposes etc?
You can view staking rewards from Native explorer, do a search with your staking address on Native explorer, scroll down to rewards to view.
Thanks, and is that data exportable?
No idea, i doubt
