Question

So the same coins are on both the app wallet

and hard wallet accounts. So if the app wallet gets hacked, will I also lose the coins on my hard wallet too? I'm confused.

I think using the keys for your app wallet would still allow your crypto to be transferred with the app as long as you have it saved there. All the hard wallet does is requre a physical step in sending the crypto. I think if you unlog your keys from the app you should be fine
