I hear ya. It didn't work out so well for General Motors back in the 70's when they named a car Nova, and for the darndest reason could not figure out why they couldn't sell many in South American countries like their other cars. "no va" means in Spanish means "does not go" Gotta choose your names wisely. 😅

That's why Riot Games always employs native speakers for translation work. They were rolling out a new skin line called "Program" with a cybernetic/android theme. But in Brazil they had to change the name because "Programa" is slang for prostitution, and all of the skins were for females 😆
