I know that it does not affect Velas, but Velas has used part of Solana's source code, so in the future, when the number of transactions in the blockchain grows, Solana's problems could appear in Velas

I think Velas has unique feature to adapt of network changes and overloads and other known blockchain vectors of attacks. Winning Blockchain of the year was not for nothing in my own personal opinion and quite few influential figures already acknowledge this fact in positive way. ETH is slow, secure and super expensive and their transition will break the PoW model and then will be a chaos. Solana code has been continuously upgraded and pushed down to nodes and recently spammed with 4 million tps by bots before broke down. 4 million!!! Velas team always reviews the github updates to take the best out of it and compare what works and what isn't. SOL is also in beta and they haven't switched to MainNet yet and i think at some point this or next year it will be done and have stable 100k tps at minimum. That will rocket it upwards no doubt and just matter of time before Velas shoots up next to it too
