That's not quite true - it is a well prepared coin however they have chosen to remove the GPS ability for Chinese users (as far as I know they have not done business in China because of regulations, but some Chinese users managed to circumnavigate this so the devs stepped in (scuse the pun) and removed GPS for all Chinese users). A small amount of research is all that is needed to back this.
