legacy délégation ?
Is it interesting regarding rewards ?
Can we delegate the rewardsor do we have to be on waiting list ?
Trankil you for your help !
Hi David, good to have you with us. Legacy Delegation has the same principle as for Staking: you are securing the network with your EGLD and the network is rewarding you with rewards (APR between 10-12%). Legacy Delegation is the delegation towards MultiversX Foundations' nodes. It is similar to the delegation on the Staking Pools’ nodes but it has few differences. In order to reach into the Legacy Delegation Pool or as the community calls it, active delegation, you have to go through a waiting list which works on a first come, first served basis. The minimum amount that can be delegated is 10 EGLD. Another difference is that Legacy Delegation Pool does not allow rewards restaking. With Staking you can stake your EGLD (minimum amount is 1 EGLD) to a Staking Provider and you can do it right now - you have many available Staking Providers in xPortal app or in Web Wallet.
Thank you Paul, Regarding rewards it’s more interesting that the usual Staking no ?
One more ? Paul , is it take long time to be able to legacy delegate ? If I unstake and I can’t delegate after ….😡 Thank you
It depends on how many EGLD are waiting in Waiting List Delegation. If you log into your wallet on Web Wallet and go to Legacy Delegation tab you should see that info there. But as a principle: you can always stake & unstake whenever you want just keep in mind that unstaking is followed by 10 days unbonding period 😉
