to refuel my car and I had to use a separate card, as Nexo card wouldn't work.
I could use it without any problems 3h in advance for 3 separate purchases, though.
Is there a status dashboard where we can see what Nexo services are operational and what's down?
PS: neither the virtual card that I use through Google Pay worked, nor the new, upgraded card which I just received.... if it makes any difference.

It was a pre-authorization transaction, not a payment transaction, if it matters
i have the same issue, old (virtual) card always worked but the new one doesn't anymore, support says the contactless limit is EUR 100, but the fuel station made a pre payment of EUR 200, that's why it didn't work, I told them the old card always worked and the new one should be better supported, but it seems it doesn't, I just received the new physical card so will try that one next time
I spoke to Support about this as well, and I've been told I'll be getting an email about it. Curious to see what they'll tell me.
