Ripple didn't object because there was no reason or anything to gain from doing so
So why delay it a week if we have the full story? It would have been the same story last week.
Several reasons (all of which bow to again nothing to gain from doing so) SEC still needed to redact PII which it was allowed to do. If ripple fought the extension it would just take more time going back and fourth over that and then it would just force the the SEC to speed up their efforts to prepare the documents according to the judges order. If they were to make a mistake while being rushed it is an error to be used later. Having an airtight case is what each side wants so closing up any and each possibility as it comes is what both sides usually strive for unless someone intends to push for a mistrial---which does not apply here. So, no reason to contest a mere week especially after 2 years.
