What will hapen with vela and multichain ?

Many of Velas community members have raised this question - how the situation with Multichain.org (Anyswap in the past) has affected Velas and it's Defi sector? Here is how we would like to clarify the situation: Velas is not in the official list of the affected blockchains. Velas wallet is using Multichain Labs (Multichain.to) and not Multichain.org. Even though the naming might look similar, those are different parties and their functioning does not depend on each other. Furthermore, as you may know, many Wavelength assets are Multichain Wrapped assets. So they do have counterparty exposure to Multichain; rest assured, the Wavelength Team is aware of this and is in contact with the Multichain Team to ensure the security of the assets and the functioning of the Velas Bridge System. Sequentially, Velas Team communicates to the Wavelength Team, and will notify the community about any changes and/or updates.
