You can send it away to a trash account, to $burnit, to a random address, to the zero address, but that will require a minimal amount of ADA to go with it (but you also received at least the same amount together with the token) and cost transaction fees.

Good question, each token is accompanied by some ADA as collateral. There are tons of useless tokens out there, so if you want to get rid of one to get the collateral of the token, I am not sure there is a way outside of trying to sell the token with the collateral. If nobody is interested in the token, it will be hard to gain access to that collateral. Maybe I am missing something hmm

Haven't tried it, but it could/should be possible to send some trash tokens with it when you deposit into a centralised exchange like Binance. They should credit the whole ADA amount to your account there and the tokens are then their problem. There have been a couple of users who accidentally sent tokens with a deposit and never got them back, because Binance & Co. just have no processes to manage that. This would be the use case for the benefit of the user for that negligence.

Are you sure? As I thought that there is no any Value interpretation (only Coin ) for any UtxO that has Byron address. But tbh, I have not checked the codes for years now.
