We missed such a big opportunity in 2021 could have taken volume from other newer smart contract blockchains but xrp even though is almost 13 years old still doesnt have simply nft transfers for example - ripple really need to catch up

Because there is no ecosystem now. But ecosystem will be the main driver for awareness and utility. Just look at number of XRP wallets, and number of wallets on platforms who have ecosystems.

Yup that is what gave the other blockchains most volume it was an alternative to the eth fees but unfortunately no defi to keep people around nor give xrpl a chance its not bad though they can still fix it

Kinda both. I have been in crypto since 2017, experienced lots of ups and downs. Ultimately made myself very comfortable with crypto. And XRP... Well, I have a startup on XRPL, so I kinda have to know what happens with XRP(L)
