The subscription plan management had an error where nodes were being paid several times over and there was a disproportionate amount of payment in that period of time. Currently the number of nodes added in the subscription and max nodes per city are being limited so the revenue has stagnated however with addition of automated payments and geographic segregation we will see change in the revenue. It is important to note that a large degree of payments to nodes are being subsidized right now as applications gain footing and become able to earn revenue. Meile is creating one of the first paid subscription plans, Solar is maintaining a paid subscription plan and the Sentinel dVPN will also have a paid subscription plan Independent dVPN has the ability to reach a revenue rate of over $10k a month with continuous growth and free dVPNs will begin paying subscription costs to nodes as well once anti-modding solutions and the right geo-agnostic AD sdks are implemented. Currently the google Ad mob account had been suspended for Independent dVPN due to the modded apps that have been flagged by google. There are a lot of growing pains in the free VPN market but very few ecosystems in the world where you can hit 100k+ download within a few months with 0 marketing. We know centralized VPNs personally that are earning over 30k per month in AD revenue, optimization of AD sdks will take some time, Google AD mob may not be the best long term choice due to the amount of traffic from sanctioned nations, Yandex will be experimented with soon and the optimal AD SDK will be finalized on
My experience with Google Ad Mob is that it is a PITA. I have had similar issues in the last with it. Yandex is an alternative but my experience with their services are they are very restrictive as well. Actually with Yandex after the Russian-Ukraine conflict I tried to login to my Yandex account while connected to a Sentinel DVPN node in Ukraine and funny enough Yandex banned access to all its services with an origin IP in Ukraine. Yandex being a Russian company is not a great alternative IMO.
Does the subscription plan still have errors ?
no currently there is no over-subscription to nodes
