No. They can do whatever they want. Cuz while they are still trying for AGI, you now have AGI building your ASI

LInux did not cause Microsoft and Apple to stop developing operating systems, but has gotten massive penetration and changed the world. Now of course an AGI will have an immeasurably greater impact than an operating system. But in the interim period between early-stage AGI and posthuman AGI -- IF we in the decentralized-AI space succeed at all, there will likely coexist decentralized and centralized AGI for some period of time.

Because of money. Whoever gets there first will have a ton of potential investors. If you're close or second you or are close behind you can keep some cash flow.... But big tech has unlimited capital and craves power. They will always chase you. The point is, if someone achieved AGI, your there. I'm talking about real AGI. It's like electricity. Once it was invented, it's there. Then money is made improving the infrastructure and distribution.

Yes there are few absolute certainties regarding the future on our planet. Not getting to AGI first does not totally doom us to failure but majorly stacks the odds against us. Quantifying the probabilities here is hard to do in a rational data-driven way and we must to go some degree on intuition.

That's me. I am more concerned with ASI knowing all to well that real AGI technology advances ASI by years

In your opinion, are we as investors here to help facilitate the mission only with donations, or are we to have an expectation for a return on our investments? If I had all the money in the world I’d hand it to you. But I don’t. My experience here has been more like we are a funding mechanism, instead of partners that will benefit monetarily for lending our money for so many years. Im curious as to the commercialization of products etc. being mentioned. Do we benefit from sales? Many questions swirl good, bad, & other lol. Timelines also matter. Im not honestly looking to wait another 7 years n my investment sit like it has.

Ive funded it since 2017….what are you talking about lol. I am asking about a return. I am not a charity nor a billionaire. I believe in this project, but I can use my money now. Ive made alot since then holding…but this is a different thing than I signed up for in 2017 is all. I also dont want to lose over half my tokens. If I just got here yesterday maybe not a big deal….but I have a long time backing Ben with my wallet here.

I'm asking questions so I can understand you, it seems like you think it's worth funding $AGIX but you want a return, you mention 2017, let's not forget the entire economy from that time, wars, pandemic, I'm sure Ben (who is not responsible for your return) would give you all the returns in the world if he could! ❤️

I’m a long term holder as well and bro your doubts are quite impossible to predict.. honestly this merge will def give us enough exposure to the mkt .. even Bloomberg post an article about it… the big dogs are watching carefully, that should mean something ..

Look, I’ve met people who have been backing Ben since 1998. He’s been ahead of his time for at least 30 years and now finally the future has caught up!! It’s AGI time at last!! We have one more giant push - and the GPUs we need are a pretty fundamental component - and we win the biggest technology race of all time!!!

The issue with being way ahead, is sometimes we forget how far ahead we are. The. Get stale & anxious. I do anyways. I forget how far ahead we are. But i also know tomorrow isnt promised either. It’s a conundrum to be human with multiple povs lol

Cool. I guess questions are things like will it be focusing on AGI enablement or creating models that can underpin spinoffs? Will it be commercially available to other projects? How much will be R&D? Stuff like that. It's just so easy to spend that 100M.
