genuine article ?
If you read what he posted it actually refers to a blockchain integration into the marketplace. Not a merger. Pls ignore misinformation and hyperbole 😉
Ah yes makes more sense.
As a side note, I’d not expect dev work or partnership building to cease because merger is being debated. All work continues and moves forward
A big partnership announcement may boost community .. just a suggestion 😉
Boost community as in? :))
More positive about merge and confidence.
Makes sense now that you’ve said it, I misunderstood your comment 🤝
IMO, enough partnerships, spinoffs, drops, bonuses, splits, forks, mergers, etc. I've worked in industry a long time, and one of the things you learn is that organisations have a "go to" when challenged. That differs per organisation but there are patterns. Some have a leadership shuffle, some launch a new side brand, somebdo a reorganisation and fire a quarter of their staff, some buy other companies with debt, some rename and rebrand. It rarely works, because the challenge doesn't evaporate. Crypto tends to do these loose partnerships. Makes it look like something is happening. But generally they never amount to much. AGIX has a clear goal. It's tough and the approach isn't guaranteed. But the path is fairly clear now, this is our bet. It's now about execution.
Devils advocate. Wasn't phase 2 our clear path? Wasn't phase 2 about execution? Api calls? 1 billion tokens to expedite things? Spinoffs to expedite things. Hypercylce? Nunet? Zarqa which seems like it's dead in the water.
Can't speak for Ben or the team, but I think LLMs outperformed expectations and bought forward AGI date. I also think the agent marketplace was a great idea for spawning emergent intelligence. And it still forms part of Hyperon. But there's two issues with it, it would appear. The ETH speed and overhead was one. Cardano offered a solution, and the L1 protocols even better. So I get the team pointing straight towards that with phase 2. But the second issue seems to be that agents running on a blank sheet isn't enough. They need their own rich environment. That's Atomspace. Phase 2 focused on the first issue. Zarqa, I have no idea.
Regarding spinoffs. I would guess that raises funds, but also that it was seen as a way of seeding the marketplace. Personally I think that "professional services" seeding is likely less than 10% of the intelligence needed on our future knowledge graph, but I get the idea.
Wouldn't the most brilliant ai brain see that? It's always been said that llm is nonsense and a farce. Guess.not
The article mentions potential blockchain integration into the marketplace, not a merger
