Still a decision which should be voted on chain. This way, validators have no saying in such a drastic turn and important decisions are relegated to few. Not much decentralized.

Not about the ticker per-se, but the fact that we are expanding horizons to macro categories which never touched sentinel for now. We are asking for fixes to the nodes ecosystem for a long time now, and if the answer is "we switch to something else completely", well... that's bad I think.
