I can't know where you went, you have to check your history closely, you went on a wrong website probably, and your issue do not come from your seeds because it didn't get your bnb, this mean you thought you made an action like unstake and you sent them instead on a cheated website. Something like that I guess

Its one of my friends wallet so I'm trying to help him as much as I can. It was his first time and he said he connected trust wallet with pancakeswap.finance. According to him he successfully exchanged his BNB to Cake token then went to pools and invested those Cake in auto stake pool . He said he even got a confirmation message that his funds have successfully staked in the pool. He said after 5 mins the funds weren't their . This is the entire story !

I know . I'm trying to help a friend. I'm just confirming if its not the auto pool address. Because uptill then he beleived his transaction was successful and it got safely to auto pool and is just not showing up

we are going on circle..... We are saying that his CAke were transffered to another address/ wallet address... its NOT on pools, no auto stake. He sent it to another wallet address.. Now, if he didnt initiate that transaction, what we are tying to say is that His Wallet was compromise. How compromised? could be that hes device isnt secure enough, maybe he kept his seeds/pks on devices/ emails, could be that he connect to phishing sites, etc etc..

Yeah he really need to find where the issue was. He is so new that he has previously never used any wallet , never connected anything. So I doubt how did the scammers targeted him. Connected trust wallet directly to pancakeswap. I don't know how someone can send him a phishing link when he's just using a mobile phone and going straight to dapps and connecting with pancakeswap

sorry to hear that but new users are the easiest to target. he could have downloaded a fake wallet, got phished, clicked a malicious link, have malware/virus etc. The fact the tokens were actually transferred indicate the bad actor has access to his wallet i.e. has his seed phrase/private key.

Yeah may be a fake trust wallet. But upon checking android store can't find any fake trust wallet. He's offline now but really need to ask him if that's the case

Another good tip is using different wallets. I use one wallet just for my cake stack and don't use it for anything else

Yeah it really needs a lot of research. A lot of us have many apps installed on our devices so to figure out which one stole the data is tricky. I think its a very clever scam that I never thought would be possible by using pancakeswap

ive got multiple devices, and using offline hardwallets like safepal, separate device for confirmation on Binance, 2fa, emails, A separate phone for staking, an dummy wallets for apeing anf testing, etc

I think as long you're not staking coins its all good. Plus you ignore the dusting coins. Meta mask is read only and also for someone to access it he needs to have the 12 words seed phrase which you can write on a paper
