The Vasil upgrade is a major upgrade with lots of dependencies, the ecosystem has grown a lot! This is a good thing. The first dates given were in hindsight too optimistic. Yes, I get this is disappointing. But you shouldn't be. Important issues have been found in the testnet and one new one today in mainnet before the HFC date has been set. This is excellent news, the testing process works as it should! The last issue added today has been added by the Cardano community of stake pool operators for example who experimented with the new node software on mainnet before the HFC. It is critical to fix these issues before the HFC. Personally, I much rather have a further minor delay of a few weeks than to experience major issues before or after the HFC. What is a few weeks in comparison to the future years with the new features offered by the Vasil HFC? Discussion in Cardano is too often only about price action and too little about what we are about, how we differ and what is or will be possible IMHO. This is something we as a community need to work on to drive up adoption further.
