Does anyone else have problems sending ada using daedalus? I

just get "an error occured" no matter the amount

They typically don't aim for people sending them ADA, but for people giving them their seed phrase (or putting the seed phrase on a scam website of theirs). Unfortunately, there probably are quite some people falling for that. It also doesn't really help that giving the seed phrase to a legitimate, browser-based light wallet really seems quite similar to the only mildly naïve user.
