ALBT Tokens?
A: Users are strongly advised to not trade (buy or sell) ALBT Tokens. A snapshot will be taken shortly before the announcement was made, and we are working with exchanges to determine the best course of action for users with orders filled. Trading after a specific time to be communicated will not be considered for the compensation scheme.
2 — How will the compensation program work for users with ALBT Tokens on centralized exchanges (CEXes)?
A: For users with tokens on CEXes, we are working with exchanges to have a balance snapshot before the announcement was made. More information about this will follow next.
3 — What is happening with the existing liquidity on exchanges for ALBT Tokens?
A: Existing liquidity on exchanges is currently being withdrawn. A new ALBT token will be deployed, replacing the old one (not increasing supply), and liquidity will be provided for these tokens at the snapshot's price.
4 — Will I receive the new ALBT Tokens from the snapshot if I use Metamask / hardware wallet / CEX wallet?
A: From the snapshot, Legacy (old) ALBT holders will receive the new tokens through a token distribution to both software and hardware wallets. We are working with CEXes to get balance snapshots, and more details will follow next.
5 — What will happen to Legacy ALBT Tokens in AllianceBlock platforms (Bridge, DeFi Terminal, Fundrs, DEX)?
A: For users with Legacy ALBT tokens in AllianceBlock platforms (Bridge, DeFi Terminal, Fundrs, DEX), the smart contracts are not compromised and tokens on these platforms will be taken into account during the snapshot and the distribution.
6 — Has the incident been fully investigated, and will there be a technical report?
A: We are still actively investigating the incident, and will be publishing a technical report on what happened. Details on the token distribution will be published at the same time.
7 — Why should there be a new ALBT contract created?
A: The hacker has obtained a large part of the supply. 113M tokens are now in circulation were never meant to be, and there are still exchanges that can't effectively block the trading of or seize stolen assets unfortunately. This has nothing to do with the security of AllianceBlock smart contracts, both for the tokens and platforms, but to mitigate the damage caused by these stolen assets.
8 — Why are some exchanges still trading?
A: After TGE, the team revoked ownership of the ALBT token smart contract, and we do not have control over minting or stopping the trading of the token.
9 — Will we continue to be partners with Bonq?
A: No. Placing ALBT balances in third-party protocols will be out of the question, aside from known battle-tested ones like large DEXes and multisigs contracts. Any ALBT allocation for these protocols going forward will be subject to discussion and approval by the DAO.
10 — : What will be the price of the new token?
A: Listing price will be determined by the price of the token when the snapshot is captured.
11 — : My tokens are staked, will I be included in the token distribution?
A: Yes. ALBT balances in hardware / software wallets and in staking contracts will be taken into account.
12 — : I have wALBT tokens on BNB chain / Avalanche / Polygon / etc. Will I get receive new tokens as well?
A: Yes. Wrapped AllianceBlock Tokens on other networks are the same as ALBT on Ethereum. Advisory of not trading these tokens still apply.
13 — : I have bALBT on the BNB chain, will I receive the token distribution as well?
A: Yes. Users with bALBT will receive the new ALBT tokens through the token distribution, no bridging via Burgerswap required.
14 — : My wallet has been compromised, can I claim/receive the distribution of the new token with a different wallet?
A: Unfortunately it is not possible to claim/receive our new token with a different wallet. We are not able to verify ownership of wallets.
I bought ALBT on Uniswap and then transferred the tokens to Trust Wallet. When the new tokens are released well I have to contact Uniswap to obtain my new tokens or will Uniswap automatically send them to Trust Wallet? The reason I ask is in order to transfer a token to trust wallet there needs to be a contract address imputed into trust wallet in order for the token to appear in trust wallet. So will there be a new contract address for the NXRA token Or is it still going to be same contract under allianceblock in Uniswap?n
