Congrats guys on the ERC-7208 progress and adoption thus far!!

Been a long time coming. I remember the very first announcement of “MetaNFTs” and nexera protocol a couple years ago. It’s exciting to see the tangible results and momentum!

I’m working on a startup social investing app and we have a small dev team of 2, neither of which are familiar with DLT, smart contracts, token standards, wallets, etc. but they’re solid web2 engineers. How easy would it be for them to understand ODCs and integrate them into our web2 app?

Hey @J_zucc , sorry for the late reply. If you are asking if it's possible, then yes: we've had projects integrating ODCs transparently through a typescript SDK, which should be easy to follow by anyone with web2 experience(i.e. React, JS promises, etc) and some web3 network fundamentals (i.e. indexing events, transaction signatures). The latter can be abstracted through SDK or API. Understanding the ERC is most likely not necessary for a web2 application developer to use it. Some partial understanding of the ODC may be required, depending on the functional requirements. There are many ways of integrating the technology and the devil's on the details. Can you tell me a bit more about what you have in mind?

No worries, thanks for the explanation! We’re building a social platform centered around finance & investing and here are a few ways I could ODCs bringing value: Wrapping/tokenizing user accounts to more securely manage user data and allow individuals to own/control their data, which they can then contribute to larger data pools/sets (via Nuklai) to earn rewards. Recommend or provide gated access to specific groups/communities based on certain user data (location, demographic, portfolio, education, career, interests, etc.) Personalized AI agents that learn from a user's data and goals to assist them in their wealth-buidling journey.
