How can i get file size from XFile?

final XFile? pickedFile = await _picker.pickImage(
source: source,
maxWidth: 1200,
maxHeight: 1200,
);

var file = File( pickedFile!.path);
debugPrint("file type: ${file.runtimeType}");
debugPrint("file size : ${file.lengthSync()}");

you mean i should use length method? it gives me wrong number that is not related to file size 415213 file size is 47 KB

you probably didn’t notice, but when you pick a file from pickImage you cut it to size, so size will be different
