status;
replication errors will be there.
but basically, if slaves don't start - restore from backup. skipping transactions is bad, like George Floyd himself
I will check n go through the docs. But yes still not sure why the replication is not working on DR node
On master to slave it's fine
what is the error in slave status?) it should shed the light
It's show connecting only on DR
did you check network connectivity via telnet between servers?
Yes checked through telnet n ping.. It's fine
if it doesn't write error and says connecting, i'd say it is a network related problem. when doing telnet, you specified the right mysql port? both sides? check settings on slave, so that master address and port are specified. also look for errors in logs on both sides
It would be great help if we cn connect on zoom or teams as Oracle support is useless
sorry, mate. i have two jobs, a kid and a pregnant wife. Ain't nobody got time for that (c)
Completely understand n thx for support
You can check the MySQL port yourself. From slave telnet ip_your_master_node port_MySQL_on_your_server
