You don't think that's a question that should have been asked prior to telling me I can't call poor people poor and trying to determine whether or not my life is better than all of Switzerland?
No, I legit mean third world doesn't literally = poor. And that Switzerland is also a third world country.
"What Is the Third World? "Third World" is an outdated and derogatory phrase that has been used historically to describe a class of economically developing nations. " Economically developing Et. Al. "Poor" lite
I'm aware of its usage. But I still hold the literal definition over the "supposed" one
There is no literal definition.
It has its own wiki page. And several other websites ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It has wikis, web pages, and thousands and thousands of documents because noone agrees on a definition..a definition is a one to two sentence hard text in black and white stating what it means. Not 50 million essays on what a person interprets it to mean.
I know but those definitions are usually limited to hard sciences. You don't really have a proper definition for things in biology either unless you also encompass exceptions and dive deep
Except a definition is immutable, unopen to interpretation.
