You can still write cross-platform applications via cross-platform Javascript libraries.
The native ways for mobile development are: Android: Kotlin, Java IOS: Swift, Objective C And for desktop application it's kinda different. You should be able write cross-platform or platform-specific applications for desktop via different programming languages. (C/C++/Rust are the stuff I know that they can bring ur needs)
You still can write any of the things I said via Javascript anyways. In both cross-platform and platform-specific manner.
