guys
Im pretty much good in math and im studying engineering physics in college
I love math more than anything...
I haven't read any algorithm books or something like that...
sometimes i want to solve mathematics problems(like the stuff at Codewars . com) by programming which they are pretty tough , but i just Can't do that and that makes me sad and i wonder maybe im not so good in computer science ...
So maybe this seems ridiculous but is it going to be a real problem?
i mean i wanna do something amazing in future and being good as much as elite people in computer science field..
There is somethig in my mind that says you must solve this
And i literally do my best
But at the end.....
Yeah...
This is something that messed me up
Have you started programming recently?
Math is not CS CS is not entirely just math Computer programming is about learning the basics of how a computer works, learning the languages and basically it's pure logic.
No I have some knowledge about python and i was programming for short time in python but not to solve math problems I switched to Scheme about 2 months ago And decided to teach my self computer science
best way to learn a programming language is to just set a goal. Imagine a program you'd like to write, take notes on what you expect it to do. Then go on, select the language that suits your needs best (probably Python) and just iteratively try until you reach your goal
👍 I see... I checked the colleges curriculums and i saw so many math topics.. I thought its a main thing that i should master in computer science before anything else
Well actually i wanna be good in Networking And some people said i should know a lot of things about the computer architecture and Operating systems and Algorithms like Grapha as well..
I'm a senior software engineer, all I know know about math is basic arithmetics and a few terms like "algebreic equations". If you would give me a basic equation from middle-school I probably would struggle solving it
