is called 4K if most of the times it looks worse than uncompressed 720p?
Is it even 4k tho? Maybe it's using some compression because it automatically detects that your network is too slow to get higher bitrates?
4K refers to one of two high definition resolutions: - 3840 × 2160 (16:9) (about 8,3 Mpx) (4K UHDV) (home TV UHD screen) - 4096 × 2160 (17:9) (about 8,8 Mpx) Full 4K (wide cinema screen) https://www.lifewire.com/4k-resolution-overview-and-perspective-1846842
water is wet yeah
wow, I didn't know that! 🤔
4k is the uploaded resolution. I can upload 1080p upscaled to 4k, just to beat the YouTube compression algo and it will look better than 1080p uploaded at 1080p
Yes, that's why I am asking
You can upscale 240p to 4k. It all depends on source vid quality
smart thinking dude
Ex youtuber, programmer lol
I've been told that it is awful only in dark scenes because of the compression
