Android, or at least force my secondary router to advertise its own leases?
I'm in a situation where my ISPs router is IPV6 and heavily vendor locked. So as a bypass to that I have a secondary PC on the same subnet that acts as my router.
But as I can't change the router settings and don't have a secondary switch or router.
I kinda have to find a way around this.
It's bugging me because, for some reason the request from my phone randomly go through IPV6 via the ISP router but most of the time it'll actually respect the IPV4 settings and go through my home made router 🤔
The behavior seemed to be application specific, like on reddit and sometimes youtube. What I have done for a while which I don't like. Is that I have created a wireguard connection between my phone and the secondary router. But, it's annoying because it'll eat my battery.
