In Microsoft Project (2019), what's an efficient way of deleting

tasks with dependencies
(that are already part of linked chain of predecessors and successors)
without breaking the rest of the chain ?

example: A -> B -> C
I'd like to remove B, and have it automatically become A -> C
right now if I remove B, C will also be removed from the chain

Autolink inserted or moved tasks option is already enabled

Ashii but ofc ((: I can't imagine the software not already having it automated, maybe something buggy caused that auto link option to not work properly 🤔
