A bit more details please
Yes.
I have a Celeron 2gb laptop, I was wondering if I can run Ubuntu Raspberry Pi on it.
Where does suddenly the raspberry pi come into play?
I want to run linux on the laptop but I wasn't sure which one, since raspberry pi is quite light weight I thought its ubuntu image might work for me
It‘s optimised for those devices. I think you‘d have more issues than fun. Just try running a normal ubuntu desktop and see how good it works :)
Celeron ain't ARM.
You can install Raspbian for PC which is Raspbian's x86 port. Also Raspberry Pi's Ubuntu is the ARM port of same Ubuntu we have on x86 just install regular Ubuntu. I think there is 2 Ubuntu for RPi Snappy Ubuntu Core and Ubuntu Mate. Ubuntu Server and Ubuntu Mate are available for x86 and do the same trick
Ive didnt checked RPi website since RPi 2B
Raspbian for PC... Do you mean Debian lol?
Kinda yes this thing
