Well, everything useful in our life has some sort of

manual or documentation.

Like you want to build an Ikea desk, there's a manual with it. You can but it without one but if you end up with extra screws that means you fucked up.

Anything useful has a documentation or manual. So why shouldn't your soul have one?

This is just a binary thinking it's not like this.

If everything was fine ... How would you be able to apriciate anything?

And God doesn't need your prayers to do something... It's just a nice behavior to have. When someone's holding the door for you, it's common to thank them right? So, why should praying be any different?
