Apart from this, telegram seems to have been written quite

intricately right?

I mean I don't know if that's like an extra work but imagine when you send a music in a group, the music gets saved in telegram cloud which helps the user fairly significantly

in linux delete kernel modules folder and you will be loged out from your telegram account. also you can't run telegram under sandbox. the official binary is heavily encrypted and when you analyze its memory you will see unnecessary calls. it's also heavily analyzing data. there are many segfaults in it and there is no mitigation on the official binary. use opensource version and disable auto update and try to limit it
