Now it's even worse I guess. Because Google has no option to find every copyright infringement it should block most user content because it hardly can get all the information needed. So either all creators have to share with Google any created content or Google has to fear that one will steal from X by hacking site A where google has no access to and X will sue Google for making it possible to share it. So imo the EU internet which is searchable will get really empty. Dunno how the future will end up. :s

That's also possible for a long time ago. It's your copyright that you have when creating stuff. If you draw a comic and someone uses it to make a meme he is violating copyrights. Now it is even more violating and not only in Germany but in the whole EU plus Google is the one violating the rules. For example.
