I think OpenSUSE is the best option for this kind of things. The integrated support and the ease of YaST2, as well as the high configurable setup (from which you can select the Kubic set for containers and XaaS) makes it probably the most easy yet versatile distroes (SUSE including) of the gnu/linux scene. And remember Leap gets costantly updated.
