development environment for my work/personal projects and wanna know what you guys think.
Docker doesn't work well on my Windows Home (I know, ew). So I have to rely on VMs and WSL. WSL has... problems. So I'll only be using it for ssh and tmux.
Browsing around I found phabricator. Looks perfect for almost everything I need. To store my side projects, develop a wiki for work, etc. Except for chat though.
And I looked at syspass and that looks fantastic for an on-premise password manager.
If I managed to get all of this set up, I could place all of the vdi in veracrypt and backup the volume file to my paid cloud storage.
I tried setting up syspass and phabricator as Docker containers in a single CentOS VM but it got complicated with phabricators setup.
Thoughts?
why don't you want to use Linux?
About vms, do you know about Vagrant?
