have 100,000 years of human civilisations, so when was the great flood supposed to have happened? How come the Sumerians didn't seem to care that the world was flooded. If it happened more than 100,000 years ago, how come Noah is Abrahams grand dad?
Or why would such a vastly important text be: A: destroyable and subject to decay/passage of time B: not highly well organized, written in a manner that is not open to interpretation, and immutable. The text itself should be able to demonstrate that it is divine, unambiguous
Again, the "It's a test" is the only answer religion gives
A) Quran hasn't been destroyed our versions match those Ali wrote 1400 years ago that are in the British Museum B) that's subjective
So the original text/book itself is in perfect condition? Hasn't changed or altered it's state either chemically nor materially, and is in the same exact condition as the very day it was first crafted?
When was it written?
That's my point. A man made object fades, yellows and is at perpetual risk of crumbling from the passage of time. A divine object, unconditionally demonstrating it is a divine product, would not.
Wow, quite insightful
since you are leaning on Quran writings, what happens to those who never heard of the associated religion when they die?
Depends on the religion. Christianity says purgatory because they weren't "saved", but even they splinter into dispute
It's Yet Another Abrahamic Religion. The usual, good people to heaven bad people to hell either eternally or temporarily
their scriptures don't include that part? you mean there are no subtitles for that part?
so doesn't matter if I have ever heard about the religion or not? so I don't necessarily have to convert as the judgement will be similar?
No there is "no force in being religious" according to the 2nd chapter
I was just asking: will everyone judged by the right and wrongs stated on the scriptures even if I died without any knowledge of the scriptures existence?
The rights and wrongs in these scriptures are basic morals we share with atheists including: don't rob, don't fuck around, do charity and such so yes those are the standard you should already be living up to regardless of being religious or not. Good people who arent thieves and just dicks in general go to heaven
capitalists will never see heaven(s?)🚪
I wouldn't say that, capitalism and capitalists aren't stealing/robbing or doing anything bad, it's those who are exploitative that need to be separated out and don't need to be allowed to be branded as capitalists
Not all capitalists are idk Trump or something
in capitalist economy everyone is exploitative unless you're running a humanitarian business. else can someone quantify what is "enough" profit? i.e. what is equivalent to me trading in for the next abc item or service?
That's my point, that's not capitalism.
The owner of your local grocery shop is a capitalist, is he a super villian tho? Probably not just someone doing their own business
