different browser has their own engine and styles and how them work to show result to end user?
🙂It has been standardized. But with all standards they are not strictly enforced.
it must be strictly enforced so they work same on all browser. i don't care how they handle all scenario. what i care is that when i want style something it's possible with same code.
It is standard, just different browsers have different support for different levels of the standard, and also support non standard extensions
https://html.spec.whatwg.org/
You can also check https://caniuse.com/jpegxl to see what features are supported by which browser versions
I wish PWAs had better support than just chrome tbh
you mean there is not a generalized standard
soo real it sucks that firefox has not interest into it
There is an extension to use pwas with firefox. It works quite well.
