in your resume, you can mention that they are private and if required you can show source code over a meet etc
Some of them are work that I have done for an employer, I asked them if it's ok to share some of the source code on my resume and they gave an ok. The others, for example a media home server, are not THAT good for it to be considered a production ready app, but I've put much effort in them and they do the job I'm just afraid they might steal the source code for the private repos
Most of the things you could work on for private, personal use most probably has been done already, so if someone wanted one of your projects for some reason, they could just go to some other project that has been more developed and "battle tested".
Home media server, you mean something like plex or jellyfin? See what I mean?
Yes I'm not speaking from a high horse, but in my country the laws around copyright especially for developers is very weak. And one of my projects, a Twitter downloader bot in Telegram, has only around 3-4 actual competitors in my country. And my solution offers more features such as the ability to choose the desired size when downloading videos, long text to Telegraph transformation, role-based authentication etc... And it's just very easy to deploy, too. So that's just what I'm afraid of
Yes, this one is a personal project so I'm not afraid of it being stolen or anything, there are so many better alternatives just as you described
