need to attend it in 7 hours.
I'm so stressed right now, and I also have trust issues so I have this feeling that they may try to rip me off?
Any tips you would give to someone attending their first job interview?
It's a Junior Full-stack web developer position btw
Try not to stress, and realize this job is one of many fish in the ocean
Also realize that they don't interview everyone
Heres some advice. As sun tzu said, the outcome of the battle is decided before you even bring your troops. There is nothing you can do in those 7 hours that will make you more or less hirable. You either have the skills, and its up to THEM to compare you to others and hire you or not, or you dont have the skills, in which case no matter wha you say will make them hire you
Yeah it's not really about being hired or not, I'm just afraid if they're gonna cheat me. People like me who have no prior experience don't have much saying or high expectations when it comes to work conditions, so it makes us a good candidate to rip off
Oh they will rip you off loool do you think you have any possibility to defend yourself from that?
Well beggars can't be choosers, I mean I'm not thirsty for a job and I actually have another job. But I would really love a position as a software engineer so I can't draw the line between actual and reasonable expectations and unreasonable ones
I think if thats the case, any change is good, because at least you can do something you would enjoy more. And if they take advantage of you too much, then just look for another job or go back to your old one
