companies abroad, how common is it to get paid with crypto instead of international account money transfer?
in the eu its so unpractical, that i never heard of it as an possibility.
isnt there any crypto exchanges on eu ??
There are a few, but sepa is much easier and good enough supported in the standard software and the legal framework of each participating country.
I work remotely for a company in India and get paid in crypto ( USDT to be specific ). It avoids some bureaucratic hassle on their end, and I'm getting a better exchange rate, so I don't mind. Wouldn't say it's common though
to be clear, india isnt a crypto friendly country lol
Yes, it even banned binance recently
In the eu it's very common I normally exchange euros and dollars for usdt using PayPal or cash app it's easier to buy crypto in the US and eu compared to countries like India that have few exchanges
