1 dumb question. How Bill Gates is so brilliant....??

He single handedly wrote windows systems in his 20s. They are much complex. He also got 1st or 2nd in IMO. He pack so much of informations in his neural pathways and make connections and retrieve whenever he needs. I feel so dumb. Thinking ability is not efficient compared to him and he is light years ahead of me. I love to think why ppl exist smart and how they see things etc. I might sounds as fool but please don't bash me..

I think you're overestimating his abilities a lot. Instead of comparing yourself to Bill, compare yourself to yourself from yesterday. Did you get better today? What did you learn? What did you achive, what steps did you do? Comparing yourself to someone above you in the dominance hierarchy is pointless waste of mental resources. Most got there by pure chance, not by being brilliant.

Ah ok.. I understand you. I too don't have good opinion of his other side (his later years). But as a student and teen and in his 20s and 30s he seemed to be very smart. Even though, I agree he is so lucky and he got a tons of influence in his early deals if I am correct......
