Guys I need to schedule the execution of a function

every x seconds, what's the best way to achieve this? Previously for a similar need I used defender, but that seemed to not be always very precise with timing, if I scheduled like " execute every 24 hours starting looking at timestamps sometime I saw like 1:00:00 then next call might be at 1:00:05 then 1:00:02 etc. because it counts time as "since last time I gave the order to execute the autotask" not since the last time the tx in it was executed (which would be ideal for me)

Cronjob on a server that is a mainnet node (if you can) or a good VM with a good RPC service (like Alchemy or Ankr)
